A window on the work of the best year 6 class ever

Comic Relief 2015

The pupils on the School Council decided that Red Nose Day would be Wear a Onesie day. So on Friday the school was filled with children wearing a huge range of onesies or pyjamas and dressing gowns:-)

We began with our usual talent show where one act from each class had been chosen to perform in assembly. We also had a Skype chat with Uncle Fraser who is currently cycling around the world for Charity. He is in Vietnam at the moment and it was exciting to see him on the screen in the hall. Sadly the sound didn’t work and we couldn’t hear what he was saying so he had to reply to our questions in sign language. However that all seemed to add to the fun.

After assembly, the juniors went and got the stalls ready for our real fundraising event. The playground was packed with tables full of teddies needing names, toys, books and more cakes than any school could possibly eat. Any teacher on a diet very sensibly decided that they were having a day off today.

The weather was nice to us and the sun tried to come out for a little while. Have a look at the slideshow to see what it was like.
